I’ve worked 15+ years in product design. From this experience, I’ve found that there’s no one-size-fits-all solution to producing good products. Instead, there are patterns. The best teams are highly collaborative — they pay attention to how small details add up and shape the larger user experience. These are the parts customers respond to and that carry the weight of your intentions. Successful teams apply systems that balance business goals, knowledge of tried-and-true UX patterns to both leverage and push against, constraints, and an openness to discovery. It’s where evidence-based solutions are pressure-tested against the real world.
AI has made iteration fast and inexpensive, collapsing the distance between idea and a shareable artifact. It's turned systems thinking into not only a shared process, but a product requirement.
I’ve done 0 to 1 work at successful startups like Cubby and Observe, as the founding designer at Lido, and at Google, Compass, and frog. I work close to shipping, with AI woven into every part of my process.
